  • Conduct thorough quality inspections of drafting and design projects to ensure adherence to company standards, scope, and client requirements.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to identify any errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies.
  • Perform detailed measurements and checks to verify dimensions, tolerances, and other technical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with drafting teams and Drafting Supervisors to address any quality issues or concerns promptly.
  • Document and report findings from quality inspections, including any deviations or non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor and track quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within the drafting and design industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of drafting software and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam) is a plus.
  • Certification in quality management or quality control is desirable.
