Drafter

Summary

This position is for an entry-level drafter that has successfully completed the Trainee Program.

Drafters are responsible for the production of high-quality and technically accurate drawings, from millwork to interior design to construction documents. As they work, drafters gain experience not only in design software such as AutoCAD, Microvellum, and Cabinet Vision, but also knowledge in the processes that take place from design to production of millwork products.

Drafters communicate and coordinate closely with their team leaders and work together with the team to successfully complete projects under the quality standards of Duckworks Millwork Solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Draw according to Client’s specifications and Architectural Plans. 

  • Report and communicate with his/her Team Leader.

  • Fill out the Drafting Review Document after completing a drawing.

  • Deliver drawings within the deadline.

  • Be part of all Drafting’s Training.  

  • Use Clockify to track all hours worked. 

  • Utilize Bluebeam Revu and Studio to navigate files, interpret redlines, and communicate work information.

Required Skills

  • Fluent in English

  • University degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, or Civil Engineering

  • Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, or 3D software

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

  • Ability to communicate internally using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and WhatsApp.

  • Ability to navigate Sharepoint and Microsoft tools for project information and collaboration of drafters.
    Required Skills

Nice to Have:

  • Basic knowledge of Microvellum or Cabinet Vision.

  • Basic knowledge of casework drawing standard
