Summary

Drafter 1s are entry level staff members that are able to execute basic drafting items with proficiency. They should possess an adequate understanding of basic millwork standards, as well as a basic understanding of design software and overall best practices. Drafter 1s should be versed in the basics of cabinet construction and parts, and be flexible enough to take on work from different client standards. Additionally, Drafter 1s must be proactive in communication and team work, knowing when to elevate decisions to their Team Leaders, and understand design documentation well enough to find information related to hardware, equipment, materials and architectural details relevant to their assigned work.

  • Draw according to Client’s specifications and Architectural Plans.
  • Report and communicate with his/her Team Leader.
  • Fill out the Drafting Review Document after completing a drawing.
  • Deliver drawings within the deadline.
  • Be part of all Drafting’s Training.
  • Use Clockify to track all hours worked.
  • Utilize Bluebeam Revu and Studio to navigate files, interpret redlines, and communicate work information.
Required Skills

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Industrial Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of Client Standards and expectations.
  • Basic Bluebeam, AutoCAD or Microvellum.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Office.
  • English high written, reading & listening skills.

  • Basic knowledge of Microvellum or Cabinet Vision.
  • Basic knowledge of casework drawing standard.
